Bike Rides

They are just so peaceful. They help me get things out of my head. They help me understand how the world works. They make me think about God. They make me wonder about his ultimate plan for me. I went on one of these rides yesterday. Trying to find myself deep inside. Then I realized that its a never ending journey to eternal happiness. My mom told me that happiness starts when you find it deep inside yourself. You can't love someone else if you don't love yourself first. It is something only you can discover. What if I can't find it though? Then you keep looking harder. How do I know I found it? Peace will bury itself deep inside yourself. A kind of peace beyond understanding. This is why I think maybe my mom is right. Maybe I do need to find myself before I try to find others. Maybe the problem isn't them. Maybe the problem is myself. My friend's little sister went to the hospital the other day. She came back perfectly fine though. For that I thank God. I live to serve.
